INVITED ARTISTS - Thematic tour in English (1.30hr)

In 2014, Anselm Kiefer invited Wolfgang Laib to create a work specifically for La Ribaute. This intellectual exchange between the two artists marks an important moment and is the start of a series of interactions with artists whose work Kiefer admires: Laurie Anderson, VALIE EXPORT, Giovanni Anselmo and Monica Bonvicini. This hour that lasts an hour and a half (1.5 hours) takes visitors through La Ribaute to discover the 5 permanent installations created by these guest artists. Appealing to our olfactory, visual and auditory senses, the creations of these visual artists from very different backgrounds use a variety of media, including photography, sculpture and sound. The exhibition puts these diverse approaches into perspective, echoing Anselm Kiefer's own practice.

This walking tour includes dirt paths, steep inclines, staircases, and narrow underground tunnels. We recommend that you wear suitable footwear. As most of the tour takes place outside, we advise you to dress according to the weather conditions.
