FULL DAY - Guided tour in english - 9:30-12:30 / 14:00-17:00

Our full-day tour allows visitors to discover La Ribaute in two phases (9:30am-12:30pm and 2pm-5pm), providing an immersive and comprehensive understanding of how the different areas of the site interconnect. The morning is devoted to a general discovery of the site, a presentation of its conception and a selection of works and environments emblematic of La Ribaute: the amphitheater, underground installations, along with several paintings and sculptures. In the afternoon, a combination of two thematic tours presents specific aspects of Kiefer's visual practice, including sculpture, monumental installations, and key themes such as memory, history, mysticism, alchemy and literature.

You may make reservations for lunch at a restaurant in Barjac or Vagnas. Please see suggestions on your tickets.

This walking tour, from 9:30 am until 5 pm (with a break in-between) includes dirt paths, steep inclines, staircases, and narrow underground tunnels. We recommend that you wear suitable footwear. As most of the tour takes place outside, we advise you to dress according to the weather conditions.
